Making of a Non CO2 planted aquarium

                                                                                        Stage : 1

Aquarium Size - 24 Inch / 15 Inch / 15 Inch


Stage 1 - 4 Kg of well washed Greenland sand used at the bottom for lift up the back position to create a slope. A 15 Watt top filter used for filtration system. With filter pad & Burnt Ceramic Ring filter media. 1 Pc X7 (15 Watt) light and one DIY made white & blue light(LED) used for this plantation.


                                                                                                Stage : 2-4



 Stage 2 - 8 Kg of clean Aqua soil(Tropica) added for plants. Slope is well maintained by soil too. 1 Inch minimum soil depth maintain through out. Some hole Rocks is added to grip and maintain perfect slope.

Stage 3 - Time for some Scaping, 3 Pcs Bogwood (0.600 Kg) and 1.6 Kg hole rock is used to decorate the tank. These Bogwoods are well seasoned (Approx. 4 months Seasoning done) .


Stage 4 - Now plants are added. Pogestomon Octopus and Rotala Twilight added at back side of the aquarium, at mid ground left middle of the tank some Star grass added, Hygrophila Polysperma added from mid ground to fore ground area at right side of the tank. some HM added at front middle of the aquarium & Rotala Orange at middle of the aquarium Tank is ready to fill with water. Soft low TDS water is used. Micro life S2 added to boost up the beneficial bacteria colony growth. Both filtration system started. Thermostat on to maintain temperature at 26 degree C. Initially the water is cloudy.


                                                                                                        Stage : 5

Stage 5 - This is the scenario of tank after 20 days. Plants are growing well & fast. weekly 20 percentage water change done. light hours daily 7 hours.
