A classic example of budget friendly small setup. Non CO2 Setup.


Aquarium size : 18 inch/ 12 inch / 12 inch

Basic Equipment details : Tropica soil - 4 lit , 4 watt Power filter (Venus Aqua)- 1 pc, X-7 Light - 1 pc,  Glass thermometer - 1 Pc

Scaping details : Dragon Rock - 5 Pcs ( 0.800 Kg total),        

Water parameters & Setup : Low TDS soft water (commercial grade) used while setup the tank. To remove excess chlorine from water Chloro away added. Micro life S2 added from first day to boost startup of beneficial bacteria colony. Before the planting I decorate the tank with soil (approx. 1.5 inch thickness) filtration system & light( 6-7 hours daily) . It's a long 12 days to complete the nitrogen cycle. Parameters was checked by test kits and then the tank ready for final Scaping and plantation.

Plants Details : Background plants - Jungle Val, Cobamba Green, Pogestomon Octopus, Hygrophila Corymbasa, Midground Plants- Cryptocoryne Wendtii Green, Bacopa Carolina,  Foreground Plants -  Hygrophila Polysperma.
