Practical tank setup ideas – Fresh water planted /wood setup/paludarium setup with Medium water flow with lots of hiding space dense plants. Black water setup with lots of wood and leaves. Minimum tank size should be 2/1/1 ft. for a group of 12

Water condition- The water should be soft to slightly hard (pH 6.0–7.5)

Temperature- 22° – 28° °C

Size at maturity –1.6 to 2 inch

Expected life span – 2 years-4 years

Tank mates – small sized tetras/other small rainbows/small corycats. It’s a shoaling fish better to keep with non aggressive tetras.

Food habits – live / frozen bloodworms, flakes, small / almost fine powdered dry foods/daphnia

Filtration system – HOB or canister according to tank size
