Water condition-their native habitat has very soft water .slightly hard will be ok

Ember tetras should be kept in acidic water with a pH near 6.6

Expected life span – 5 years-8 years

Tank mates – small sized tetras/other small rainbows/small corycats It’s a shoaling fish better to keep with non aggressive tetras

Food habits – live / frozen bloodworms, flakes, small / almost fine powdered dry foods/daphnia

Filtration system – HOB or canister according to tank size
